Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho might be on the radar of Indian Super League’s Chennai franchise but according to several media reports in Mexico, the two-time World Player of the Year could be joining Mexico top tier outfit Queretaro FC.
Ronaldinho is currently in Mexico and reports suggest that the 2002 World Cup winner could soon be a Queretaro player.
Queretaro sporting director Adolfo Rios though remains cautious and spoke to Televisa about the negotiations.
“There are negotiations, but nothing has yet been sealed. We’ll have to wait. It wouldn’t be the first time that the situation of looking (to sign) a player occurred and then for negotiations to fail due to external situations,” Rios was quoted saying.
The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner has been a free agent since leaving Brazilian club Atletico de Mineiro in July.
