Madrid, July 24 (IANS) Real Madrid forward Lucas Vazquez has said that his club-mate Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the Ballon d'Or award, given to the World Footballer of the Year.
"Right now I don't think there's any doubt. Cristiano Ronaldo deserves it more than anyone else and I hope he wins it again," Vazquez told the Spanish club's website on Saturday.
Ronaldo has emerged as a strong favourite to win the coveted award after helping Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League and captaining Portugal to Euro 2016 triumph.

Vazquez indicated that playing alongside the three-time Ballon d'Or winner "makes everything easier", reports Efe.
The Spanish player added that Real Madrid "is a demanding club," so more efforts are required to win every game and every tournament you play in.
