#1 Robert Lewandowski
One of the best strikers in the world, Robert Lewandowski has consistently shown what a true world class goalscorer he is with his performances for Bayern Munich in the past few seasons. Bayern Munich is a team full of superstars, but Lewandowski is arguably their biggest trump card.
Capable of scoring goals from any angle, Lewandoski is quite simply a complete striker as he is comfortable with both his right and left foot and is also extremely competitive and effective in the air. Having scored over 40 goals in both 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns, Ancelotti will be hoping that the brilliant Pole continues his good form this season as well.
While players like Ronaldo and Messi are undoubtedly more talented and complete players than Lewandowski, purely in terms of finishing, Lewandowski is undoubtedly the best in the world at the moment.
Note: Prolific goalscorers like Cavani and Aubameyang were left out because although they scored plenty of goals, they also missed many clear cut chances.
