Cristiano Ronaldo told me certain things: Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc

Ronaldo’s side defeated Blanc’s men by a solitary goal in Tuesday’s Champions League match

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has refused to speak about what Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo had whispered to him following their 1-0 loss to Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu on Match Day 4 of the Champions League, as per reports on ESPN. Ronaldo went looking for the French manager as soon as the referee blew the final whistle to bring a halt to an exciting encounter.

The 30-year-old engaged in a brief conversation with Blanc and was later seen smiling which has prompted wild speculation over whether what was said was something related to the forward's persistent links to the French champions. However, the Frenchman has revealed in an interview about the actual conversation they had when the Real Madrid icon was seen whispering something in the manager’s ear.

“Ronaldo told me certain things, yes,” said Blanc.

“But as you might suspect, I won't say what it was.”

“It was very complimentary anyway. I won't say any more about it.”

Just a few days prior to the French Champions’ visit to the Spanish capital, the former Manchester United forward had suggested that he was uncertain about his future with Los Blancos, insisting that he will do whatever makes him happy and he is currently happy with the Galacticos.

Rumours of Ronaldo’s exit from Spain seems to be gaining momentum

By hearing such rumours surrounding Ronaldo’s future at the club, Real president Florentino Perez was himself seen waiting for Portuguese star as the team made its way from the team bus to the dressing room prior to the game on Tuesday. He greeted each and every one of the players as they walked past him. However, Perez confronted Ronaldo over the statement he had made prior to the match against PSG.

The statement released by the Portuguese has alerted the likes of Manchester United and PSG to step up their pursuit of landing him in the next summer transfer window. Ronaldo’s current contract at Madrid expires in 2018 and he could possibly renew his contract with the Spanish giants if they are willing to offer him a more lucrative package in the future.

PSG captain Thiago Silva had admitted last week that he would welcome the two-time Ballon d’Or winner at the Parc des Princes next summer. However, Ronaldo’s friend Jose Semedo might have shattered Silva’s dream of playing alongside him by insisting that Ronaldo’s wish was to return to England and end his glorious footballing career with the Red Devils.

Since joining the 10-time European winners from Old Trafford in 2009 for a world record fee of £80 million, Ronaldo been sensational and has helped the club win a host of major trophies which includes the La Liga title, the Champions League and he recently broke club legend Raul Gonzalez’ goalscoring record.Â?Â?
