Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has said that Cristiano Ronaldo will regret passing the chance to join United in the summer.
“If Ronaldo has made it clear he won’t be coming here, that’s just too bad for him,” said Fellaini.
Ronaldo cleared the doubts about his return last week by saying that he wants to end his career at Real Madrid amidst a new contract which will see the player remain in Spain till 2018.
Fellaini turned out to be only notable signing that David Moyes could make despite rumours about moves for Cesc Fabregas and Thiago Alacantra.
The Belgian also added that the atmosphere at the club is incredible and will help him to flourish as a player.
“It is different here, compared to Everton, and everything is in place to help me improve as a player. I am surrounded by better players, with more quality and better technique, and they have also demonstrated how much they care about me settling in quickly,” Fellaini said.
“I feel great at this club, and when I see supporters turning up for games wearing a (Fellaini) wig, it makes me feel even better. It is funny to see that, but very pleasing as well. It makes me want to do all I can for them on the pitch, and that’s what I will do,” he added.
