Crisitano Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid till he retires, recently re-elected president Florentino Perez claimed. Perez told Punto Pelota that he hopes that Ronaldo stays at Madrid for the span of his career.

The 28-year-old Portugese striker stated in September 2012, that he is not happy with the club officials for something. But, Perez believes that the future of 2008 World Player of the Year still lies with Real Madrid.

“I think that Cristiano will end his professional career at Real Madrid. And that’s not all, I can tell all Madridistas that we will soon win la Decima with Cristiano,” Perez insisted.

He added, “I don’t know whether the Madridistas are very concerned about the contract renewal of Cristiano. He still has a contract for two more years.”

On the other hand he is doubtful too, he said,‘I am not going to enter into more details, but I will only say that Cristiano’s renewal is not deadlocked as we stand today, I don’t know if he will renew his contract.’

There were rumors that Ronaldo prefers a move back to his old club Manchester United and reportedly, mega-rich French Ligue1 champions – Paris St-Germain is also interested in the Portuguese winger. Reports also suggested that he refused to renew his contract, gunning for a move away from the Spanish side. Perez responded by saying, ‘The information that Ronaldo rejected the contract is misguided.’
