Following England´s Quarter Final exit to Italy at the 2012 European Championships, Roy Hodgson will journey to South America next month to prepare for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Accompanied by Managing Director of Club England Adrian Bevington, The Three Lions manager will look at potential training camps for the tournament.
Roy Hodgson´s England will face the minnows of Moldova at Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau in September in their opening qualifying game for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The group also contains Montenegro, Poland, San Marino and Ukraine. Roy Hodgson: “I think we have got to retain two elements that this tournament has given us. We have got to retain our defensive discipline, organisation and teamwork and we have got to make certain that we retain the desire to be part of an England team, to walk the extra mile, to be able to wear the shirt. They are the two things we have got to try to keep at all costs.”
