Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho. The forward is unhappy with his playing time at Old Trafford and is considering other options.

Garnacho was in Atletico Madrid's academy before he joined Manchester United's U18 in 2020. He has since graduated to the senior team and made 115 appearances, recording 23 goals and 13 assists. However, he has seen his playing time reduce in recent weeks under new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Garnacho, along with Marcus Rashford, was left out of the matchday squad in their 2-1 win over Manchester City on December 15. While he has featured in the Red Devils' games since then, he hasn't started any of them. Hence, as per Transfermarkt, the Argentine is considering his options.

Atletico Madrid are interested in re-signing the forward this January or even in the summer. They are currently in the LaLiga title race and could look for an attacking boost. They sit just two points behind leaders Real Madrid with a game in hand.

PSG, meanwhile, are also looking for attacking reinforcements with doubts over Randal Kolo Muani's future. Garnacho's contract with Manchester United expires in 2028 and if they are to sell him, it would certainly cost a fortune.

Tottenham leading the race to sign PSG star linked with Manchester United: Reports

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race to sign PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani, who's also been linked with Manchester United. The Frenchman is set for an exit from Parc des Princes this January as he isn't in Luis Enrique's plans. He has made just 14 appearances across competitions this season, starting just twice in Ligue 1.

As per TBR Football (via Football 365), Tottenham are close to agreeing on personal terms with Kolo Muani for a potential January transfer. Spurs have faced an unprecedented injury crisis this season, with the attack also affected. Richarlison, Mikey Moore, and Wilson Odobert haven't featured since November while Timo Werner and Son Heung-min have failed to make a big impact.

Hence, Tottenham are open to providing assurances over playing time to Kolo Muani, which could see him make the switch. Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing the Frenchman, amidst their goalscoring concerns. They have scored just 23 goals in 20 Premier League games this season with only four clubs having scored fewer.
