Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window. The France international is rumoured to be unhappy at Chelsea where he has had to play a second fiddle role this season.

The interest of Manchester United in Nkunku has been reported for months, particularly since the arrival of Ruben Amorim. A report from CaughtOffside has claimed that Arsenal are prepared to join the race for the former RB Leipzig man, who is the Blues' top scorer this season.

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has struggled to give Nkunku regular minutes in his preferred position, instead playing the Frenchman as backup to Nicolas Jackson, particularly in the Carabao Cup and Europa Conference League. Christopher Nkunku has found the net 12 times across all competitions for the Blues this season. The bulk of his goals have come in Europe's third tier competition and the Carabao Cup against lower division opposition, and he has just two Premier League goals.

Chelsea have shown to be willing to sanction a sale in the January transfer window if a player makes his wish to leave the club known. Nkunku's representatives are said to be considering their options for the January transfer window, with a mind to move away from Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal are in need of attacking reinforcements, after a spate of injuries in recent weeks, which have ruled out Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling. Christopher Nkunku will be a welcome addition to Mikel Arteta's squad due to his versatile attacking profile and his goalscoring prowess.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United linked with France international - Reports

France international and PSG star Randal Kolo Muani is set to complete a move away from Les Parisiens in the January transfer window, as per reports. The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour at the French club and is not in the plans of manager Luis Enrique.

A report from Foot Mercato has revealed that Chelsea have become the latest English side to enter into the race to sign Kolo Muani in January. The former Eintracht Frankfurt man had previously been courting interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, as well, ahead of a January switch.

Kolo Muani has started just two games for PSG this season, making 14 appearances in total across all competitions. He is expected to be available on a loan deal with an option to be made permanent at the end of the 2024-25 season.
