According to Daily Express, Brazilian side Corinthians has given the green flag for Arsene Wenger in his pursuit of Alexandre Pato as the club said that they are willing to allow the player leave for £10 million or on loan.
The former AC Milan star has been in the radar of Arsenal for some time since the club is still lacking a dependable backup for Olivier Giroud. Arsenal’ London rivals Tottenham are also believed to be interested in the striker and their interest will be reignited with the new price tag.
Pato is currently unsettled at Corinthians and is also entitled to 40 percent of his transfer fee. And after securing the services of Wojciech Szczesny for the next four years, Wenger is believed to have turned his attention to Pato for keeping the title hopes alive.
