Aston Villa are reportedly ready to offer a cash-plus player swap deal to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for Randal Kolo Muani, who's also on Manchester United and Arsenal's transfer radar. According to Football Insider, Unai Emery's side will include Jhon Duran in the deal to sign the French attacker.
Duran joined Villa in January 2023 from MLS side Chicago Fire FC and has since scored 20 goals in 75 appearances for the Premier League side. However, the Colombian attacker has improved his performance this season. In 26 appearances across all competitions, Jhon Duran has scored 12 goals.
Aston Villa are ready to offer the Columbian attacker to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to sign Randal Kolo Muani. According to the aforementioned report, the Ligue 1 champions will hold a meeting next week to discuss the deal with Unai Emery's side.
Randal Kolo Muani has been a transfer target for Premier League clubs since the 2022-23 season. In that season, he made 46 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt across competitions, bagging 23 goals and 17 appearances. However, PSG signed the French attacker from Frankfurt in September 2023 for a reported transfer fee of £76 million.
Since joining Les Parisien, the Frenchman has recorded only 11 goals and seven assists in 54 appearances. Kolo Muani has started only two matches for PSG in the Ligue 1 this season and as a result, he can leave the French giants for more game time. Apart from Aston Villa, the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and RB Leipzig are also keen to sign the Frenchman.
