Girona are considering a move for the Barcelona duo of Ansu Fati and Eric Garcia in the winter transfer window, as per Relevo. Both Spanish players are struggling to get minutes under Hansi Flick at La Blaugrana.
Ansu Fati was sent out on loan to Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion from Catalonia last season, where he made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring four and assisting one goal. He also missed two months of action for the Seagulls due to a calf injury.
Since his return to Barca, Fati has played for only 186 minutes in eight appearances across competitions, falling to record any goal contribution. He has also missed the majority of the season due to foot and muscle injuries.
His contract with the LaLiga giants will expire in the summer of 2027 but La Blaugrana are keen on selling the Spanish attacker this winter.
Meanwhile, Eric Garcia spent last season at Girona on a loan deal from Barcelona, making 31 appearances, and scoring five goals. He has played 14 matches across all competitions for Hansi Flick's side this season, scoring and assisting one goal each.
Garcia's contract with Barca will expire in the summer of 2026 but the LaLiga giants are keen to offload the Spanish defender early. Girona are willing to offer €10 million to La Blaugrana for the Spanish defender. In addition to Garcia, La Blanquivermells are also keen on signing Ansu Fati.
Juventus interested in signing 25-year-old Barcelona star: Reports
Juventus are interested in signing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo in the winter transfer window, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport. Manager Thiago Motta is keen to recruit new players to bolster the defence for the second half of the season.
Bremer and Juan Cabal have suffered long-term injuries and are expected to miss the remainder of the season. As a result, the Serie A giants are looking forward to signing the Uruguayan defender on a loan deal but Barcelona are unlikely to let him go.
Last year in July, Ronald Araujo suffered a hamstring injury, which ruled him out for more than five months of action. He returned to action for La Blaugrana during their 4-0 win against UD Barbastro in the third round of the Copa del Rey on Saturday, January 4.
His deal with the LaLiga giants will expire in the summer of 2026. Nevertheless, he's already in talks over a new contract with La Blaugrana.
