Barcelona will only consider a permanent departure for Ronald Araujo in January, amid interest from Arsenal and Juventus, according to Catalunya Radio. The Uruguayan defender is no longer a first-choice at Camp Nou after missing the first half of the season with an injury.

Araujo returned to action against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey, a game that the Catalans won 4-0. However, he remains behind Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez in the pecking order for the LaLiga giants.

The 25-year-old's contract expires in 2026 and he hasn't signed a new deal yet. The situation has added to speculation regarding the player's future, with both Arsenal and Juventus apparently eyeing him with interest.

The Bianconeri are looking for a new defender this month to address Gleison Bremer's injury troubles. However, the Serie A giants are apparently planning a temporary move and have already submitted a loan offer for the player.

Barcelona are not actively looking to offload the Uruguayan. However, if they do have to sell the player, the Catalans will only consider a permanent departure.

Juventus are not in a position to pursue a permanent deal for Araujo, so the news will be a big blow for the club. Interestingly, the circumstances could suit Arsenal, who have the funds to match Barcelona's asking price. However, it is unclear if the Gunners would push for a move this month.

Arsenal could have a huge chance to sign Barcelona forward Raphinha this year, according to reports. The Catalans are under financial difficulties and are likely to turn to player sales to address the situation.

Raphinha could be sacrificed to address the situation. The Brazilian has been in the form of his life with the LaLiga giants this season.

The 28-year-old has registered 17 goals and 10 assists from 26 games across competitions this campaign. Despite his stunning form, Barcelona are apparently ready to let him go for the right price this year.

Raphinha is under contract at Camp Nou until 2027 and his recent form could help fetch a sizeable transfer fee. Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Brazilian forward and previously tried to sign him from Leeds United.

They have apparently retained their interest in the player and could have the funds to script a move. The Gunners are a team on the rise under Mikel Arteta, and Raphinha's arrival could help them hit a higher gear.
