Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly on alert as Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is eyeing an exit from the Allianz Arena. According to PSG Talk, the France international is desperate to leave the Bundesliga giants and is attracting interest.
As per the report, the 28-year-old is eager to return to his boyhood club PSG, who are considering a loan move for the winger. Barcelona and several Premier League sides are also eyeing a move for the Bayern Munich attacker.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick managed Coman during his stint at Bayern Munich. The German tactician is reportedly a huge fan of the winger and sees him as an alternative to priority target Nico Williams.
Coman came through the youth ranks of PSG but made just four senior appearances for the French giants before leaving for Juventus in 2014. He moved to Bayern Munich on loan in 2015 before joining the Bavarian giants permanently in 2017.
The Frenchman has made 295 appearances for Bayern Munich, registering 64 goals and 66 assists. He has won eight Bundesliga titles, among other honors, with the German giants.
Hansi Flick opens up on his conversation with Ilkay Gundogan amid Barcelona exit rumors
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has opened up on Ilkay Gundogann's future at the club amid rumors of his potential exit. The Blaugrana boss stated he has spoken with the Germany international and insisted he will stay at the club.
Recent reports from Spanish outlet Sport suggested that Gundogan is looking for an exit from Camp Nou this summer. It was claimed that Barca would be open to selling the former Manchester City star amid their financial struggles.
But Flick said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano:
“I think he’s gonna end up staying at Barça. He was out tonight as he had some discomfort. I spoke to Ilkay, but that stays between us as it’s private conversation."
Gundogan joined Barcelona last summer on a free transfer after his contract expired at Manchester City. He played a key role for the Blaugrana, producing five goals and 14 assists in 51 appearances across competitions.
The midfielder's current deal at Camp Nou expires next summer.
