According to journalist Rudy Galetti (via Barca Universal), Barcelona are willing to sell Andreas Christensen in January 2025. This is in a bid to register Dani Olmo whose registration as a Barca player expires on December 31, 2024.
Olmo has been outstanding since joining La Blaugrana from RB Leipzig for a reported €55 million transfer fee last summer. In 13 appearances, he has scored six goals and registered one assist.
However, Barcelona could only register him on a short contract due to their financial constraint last summer. They put Christensen out of the squad due to his injury to register the Spaniard temporarily. However, despite the club's recent deal with Nike, they might still be unable to register Olmo in the second half of the season.
La Blaugrana are also exploring the possibility of a deal with Spotify over the VIP boxes at the Camp Nou. If this deal does not materialize, Christensen could be sold in the upcoming January transfer window.
The aforementioned report also stated that Barca would demand at least €30 million from potential clubs that are interested in signing Christensen. Their interest in signing Jonathan Tah next summer could also be why they are looking to sell the Danish center-back.
Christensen joined Barcelona from Chelsea as a free agent in July 2022, and he has registered seven goal contributions in 75 games. The 28-year-old is recovering from an Achilles injury having registered only one appearance this season.
Barcelona could loan out Pablo Torre in January 2025 - Reports
La Blaugrana are reportedly willing to loan out Pablo Torre in the upcoming transfer window, as per Jijantes FC (via Tribuna). This latest development could be down to a reduction in the Spaniard's game time.
Torre was on loan to Girona last season and he returned to Camp Nou at the end of the 2023-24 season. This season, he has shown a glimpse of his brilliance in midfield. In nine appearances across all competitions, Torre has scored three goals and registered one assist.
While the reduction in Torre's game time could be down to the level of competition in midfield, La Blaugrana might send the Spaniard on loan in January 2025. Overall, he's made 22 senior appearances for the club, scoring four goals and two assists.
