Barcelona are keen on adding more firepower to their squad after reportedly signing Dani Olmo on a six-year deal. The impending arrival of Dani Olmo seems to have had a ripple effect as more players find themselves on the chopping block.
Brazilian forward Raphinha has become the latest possible outgoing on Barca’s list after the likes of Victor Roque, Jules Kounde, Inigo Martinez, and Ferran Torres have already been offered up for sale. The Catalan club is doing everything possible to return to La Liga’s 1:1 rule, which would allow them to sign new players without any financial restrictions.
According to Diario SPORT, Barcelona consider Raphinha an important player for the team but will be open to selling him if they get a lucrative offer. The 27-year-old, however, has no intention of changing clubs at the moment.
Adding more salt to the injury, Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Raphinha, spearheaded by their sporting director, Edu Gaspar, as per Tribal Football. The north London club are willing to pay €50 million to bring the Brazilian to the Emirates Staidum and are already in contact with the Spanish giants for the deal. Apart from Arsenal, the 27-year-old has also gotten lucrative offers from Saudi Pro League clubs.
Raphinha arrived in Barcelona in the summer of 2022 from Leeds for a fee of €58 million. In his two seasons spent at the club, he scored 20 goals and provided 25 assists in 87 appearances across competitions.
