Barcelona are reportedly ready to bid heavily for the signature of West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus. As reported by Footballfancast.com, the Blaugrana are keeping track of the 24-year-old who has hugely impressed since his switch to the London Stadium in the summer of 2023.
Kudus joined the Hammers in August 2023 in a deal worth a reported £38.5 million from Dutch giants Ajax. The versatile attacker has since established himself as a key player for the East London giants.
Capable of playing across the front three or as a number ten, Kudus is gifted both technically and physically. He is blessed with a lot of pace, flair and creativity and can either score or create.
The Ghana international enjoyed an exceptional debut season at West Ham scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances across competitions. He has scored once and created another in nine appearances for the Hammers this season.
As per Footballfancast.com, Barcelona are heavily interested in the former Nordsjælland and Ajax star's services. The aforementioned report also suggests that the Blaugrana could face competition from Liverpool and Manchester City for the attacker's signature.
West Ham United are reportedly unwilling to sanction a move for one of their key players. It has been claimed that they would only consider a deal if they receive an offer worth around £84 million or more.
Barcelona have started life under their new manager Hansi Flick exceptionally well and have played eye-catching football and scored for fun. They have won nine of their 11 games across competitions under Flick scoring 34 goals and conceding just 11.
Kudus could be a solid addition to Barcelona's already strong attack, which includes players like Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Ansu Fati, and Ferran Torres, among others.
