Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool set for €30m battle for 17-year-old French wonderkid: Reports

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are interested in signing LOSC Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, as per CaughtOffside. Scouts from top European clubs reportedly watched the Frenchman's performance against Juventus and Lyon.

The 17-year-old started Lille's UEFA Champions League fixtures against Real Madrid and Juventus. Against Juventus, Bouaddi maintained a passing accuracy of 87%, created a chance, and won four duels.

Ayyoub Bouaddi joined the youth side of Lille in July 2021 from French side Creil on a free transfer. Playing for the senior team of LOSC Lille, he has made 30 appearances across all competitions, bagging two assists. The young French midfielder has garnered the attention of multiple top European clubs with his recent performances.

As per the aforementioned report, Premier League giants such as Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal are among the clubs interested in signing him. Apart from the English top-tier sides, AC Milan and Juventus are also keen to sign the French defender.

Bouaddi signed a contract extension with Lille earlier this year in June and his ongoing deal with the Ligue 1 side will expire in the summer of 2027. Additionally, Les Douges are not looking forward to selling him soon. Nevertheless, as per the aforementioned source, Bouaddi's value is estimated to be between €25 and €30 million, which won't be an issue for top European sides.

Arne Slot's Liverpool and Enzo Maresca's Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, as per Fichajes.net. Manchester City and Bayern Munich are already in pursuit of the German midfielder.

Pep Guardiola's side sees Wirtz as a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, while Bayern Munich are looking to reinforce changes in Thomas Muller's place. However, Liverpool and Chelsea have joined the two sides, as they're looking forward to bolstering their squads with young talent.

Florian Wirtz emerged as a crucial part of Xabi Alonso's 'Invincible' Bundesliga-winning side last season. He made 49 appearances across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen, bagging 18 goals and 20 assists. This season, Wirtz has scored seven and assisted two goals in 17 appearances across all competitions.
