Chelsea are considering a deal for Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. According to Brazilian outlet UOL, the Blues are looking to sign the central defender with Forest looking for a fee of £50 million.

The report claims that the Blues are unwilling to match the side's asking price. Instead, they are looking to offer two unnamed players plus a transfer fee in the hopes of reaching an agreement.

Murillo has been a solid presence at the back for Nottingham Forest since he was signed from Brazilian side Corinthians in the summer of 2023 for a reported fee of €15 million. He made 36 appearances across all competitions for the side this season, bagging two assists.

His performances have caught the eye of top clubs according to the report. Atletico Madrid inquired but eventually, their interest cooled down.

Defence has been identified as an area for improvement for Chelsea who conceded 63 goals in the league last season. With the exit of veteran Thiago Silva, the Blues moved quickly, securing the services of former Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.

With the likes of Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill likely to become available more regularly next season, they will hope to fix their issues at the back.

Everton have emerged as a possible destination for Chelsea striker Armando Broja. According to GiveMeSport, the Toffees are expected to make a move for the Albanian who is likely to depart from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

A report earlier this month from Ben Jacobs claimed that the forward is among many names expected to leave the Blues in the summer. Sean Dyche's side are now looking to sign him, with a deal depending on Dominic Calvert-Lewin's departure. Other teams including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, and AC Milan have also identified him as a target.

After suffering a serious cruciate ligament injury in the 2022-23 season, Broja made a return to first-team football, serving as a backup option to Nicolas Jackson. The 22-year-old made 19 appearances before being sent on loan to Fulham in the winter transfer window.

Chelsea have identified the striker position as a priority in the transfer market. They are close to signing Barcelona teenager Marc Guiu, while also being linked with the likes of Alexander Isak, Victor Osimhen, and Jonathan David.
