Chelsea have reportedly submitted an offer to try and sign Deportivo de la Coruna winger Yeremay Hernandez this month. The Blues have identified the Spanish youngster to strengthen their attack after watching him star for his side in the Spanish second division.
Enzo Maresca's side need attacking reinforcement as Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk remains provisionally suspended from the team. The Blues may see the 23-year-old receive a lengthy ban for alleged doping, necessitating their signing a player to cover for his absence.
Relevo reports that Chelsea have sent in an offer to sign Hernandez this month and are willing to make him their first signing of the winter transfer window. The 22-year-old left winger has a release clause of around €20 million and is wanted by several clubs in Germany, Spain, and England. The winger has received an offer from the west London side, who appear very keen on him.
The Spain U-21 international spent two years at Real Madrid's academy before moving to Deportivo in 2017. This season, he has recorded eight goals and three assists in 18 league appearances, double his goal tally from the previous season.
Yeremay Hernandez is a diminutive creative winger with excellent technical qualities and a good shooting technique on either foot. The forward is capable of playing on either flank and has an impressive burst to get him away from opposing defenders. He has a contract with the Spanish club until 2030, and will likely not move unless his release clause is paid in full.
Chelsea star on the radar of Serie A giants - Reports
Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has emerged as a target for Serie A giants Juventus in this month's transfer window, as per journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The Frenchman appears unsettled at Stamford Bridge 18 months after joining the Blues from AS Monaco.
Juventus are looking to sign a number of central defenders after Brazilian centre-back Gleison Bremer suffered a season-ending ACL injury earlier this season. Thiago Motta's side have been linked with Barcelona star Ronald Araujo as well as Antonio Silva in this month's window.
Disasi has started only three games for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, having failed to earn a regular starting berth in Enzo Maresca's side. The Bianconeri intend to sign the 26-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
