Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Al-Nassr to sign Manchester United's Casemiro, according to MARCA. The Portuguese superstar's contract with the Saudi club expires at the end of this season and he hasn't signed a new deal yet.

It now appears that CR7 wants Al-Nassr to reinforce their team before he commits his future them. And one player he has personally requested is Casemiro.

The two shared the pitch together with great success at Real Madrid and later at Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo shared the pitch with Casemiro 122 times, contributing seven goals together.

The Brazilian is now a peripheral figure at the club and his future remains uncertain. The 32-year-old had an underwhelming time with the Red Devils last season and he has struggled to break into the starting XI of late.

The player has appeared 22 times for the Premier League giants this season, 16 of which have been starts. However, he has fallen out of favor since the arrival of Ruben Amorim.

Casemiro reportedly has a base salary of £350,000 per week with Manchester United and the club could let him go to balance their books. The Brazilian could have the chance to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr if he leaves Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, if CR7 doesn't sign a new deal with the Saudi club, he could move to the MLS for a new adventure. Lionel Messi is already plying his trade in the US, and should the Portuguese cross the Atlantic, he wants Casemiro to join him.

The Portuguese has scored 145 goals and set up 64 more from 346 games across competitions for the Red Devils.
