Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are plotting a move for Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker in January, according to The Sun. The English right-back has entered the final 18-months of his contract with City and is yet to sign an extension.

Walker was outstanding for the reigning Premier League champions over the past few years but has shown signs of regression lately. The 34-year-old has appeared 17 times across competitions this season for the English club, but is yet to register a goal scoring contribution.

Manchester City could be eyeing an upgrade in 2025 as they aim to arrest their recent struggles on the pitch. Despite his poor form, the player is not short of options.

Al-Nassr are keeping a close eye on his situation and are even ready to test City's resolve in the winter. The Riyadh-based club have failed to win the league in the past two seasons despite the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks.

The Portuguese has been in red-hot form this campaign as well, registering 16 goals from 19 games. However, Al-Nassr are fourth in the Saudi Pro League after 13 games, already 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.

Kyle Walker has been identified as a candidate who can help them regain lost ground in the title race this season. However, the report adds that Manchester City are unlikely to let him leave in the middle of the season. Meanwhile, Al Ahli and Al-Ittihad are reportedly in the race for the Englishman as well.
