According to a report by Fichajes.net, Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate, Sadio Mane, could make a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan. The Senegalese star was one of the finest players in Europe during his stint with Liverpool and could return to the continent after just over a year in Saudi Arabia.
Mane joined his Riyadh-based club in the summer of 2023 for a reported €30 million. He has played 68 times for the side, scoring 24 goals and providing 16 assists.
The forward has played 4,919 minutes alongside the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo for Al-Nassr across 59 games. The pair combined for eight goals, the Senegalese star scoring three, assisted by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, while the former Liverpool and Bayern star returned the favor five times.
The 32-year-old is contracted to the Saudi Pro-League side until the summer of 2026. He has been decent this season, bagging five goals and five assists in 22 appearances.
Mane's ability to play on either flank or down the middle, his goal-scoring instincts and his experience at the highest levels of club football make him an attractive prospect for the Italian side.
With Inter Milan competing on various fronts throughout the season, signing a player of Mane's ability would be a significant leap in quality.
"I'm already the player with the most goals in history" - Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he is content with his current legacy in the sport. The Portuguese star has the most professional goals in the sport's history.
Ronaldo has bagged over 900 professional goals alongside his legendary haul of five Ballon d'Or wins. He discussed his legacy in the sport in a recent interview, telling GOAL:
“I now face my life as living in the moment. I can't think long-term anymore. I said publicly that I wanted to reach 1,000 goals, but it seems that now everything is easy, just last month I reached 900. It's about living in the moment, seeing how my legs will respond in the next few years. If I reach 1,000 goals, that's fine, but if I don't, I'm already the player with the most goals in history.”
Cristiano Ronaldo is in the final year of his contract with Al-Nassr at 39. The final stages of his legendary career remain impressive, with the Euro 2016 winner bagging 73 goals and 18 assists in 82 games for the Saudi Pro League outfit.
