MLS side Inter Miami are reportedly keen on signing Celta Vigo striker Tadeo Allende to bolster their attack, which is led by Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. The 25-year-old is reportedly set to leave the LaLiga side this season.

Tadeo Allende joined LaLiga club Celta Vigo in January 2024 for a reported €4.5 million on a four-and-a-half-year deal. The winger has played only 100 minutes in three appearances this season, contributing two goals. Allende's versatility, especially his ability to play as a winger and in the middle, has reportedly attracted Inter Miami's attention.

According to AS, Inter Miami coach Javier Mascherano is keen on signing Tadeo Allende to support the attack led by Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Celta Vigo reportedly intend on selling the attacker but the Herons may face competition in his signing. Some other clubs, such as Granada, Zaragoza, and a few Brazilian clubs are also interested in securing the 25-year-old's services, per the report.

Inter Miami notably sold one of their key forwards, Leonardo Campana to New England Revolution earlier this month for a record $2.5 million in General Allocation Money (GAM). Therefore, the Herons must bolster their attack which otherwise lacks depth and Allende seems to be an affordable option.

After the departure of Campana, the MLS side also lacks strong alternatives in their attack for Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. Both Messi and Suarez have been crucial for the club, with 36 G/A in 25 outings and 37 G/A in 37 outings respectively. However, the club must prepare for their potential absence and look for younger alternatives to compete for titles next year.

According to reports by the Argentine website River Noticias, Inter Miami have enquired about the potential signing of River Plate centre-back Paulo Diaz. The Argentine side are reportedly open to selling the Chile international in the January transfer window.

The aforementioned report claims that Paulo Diaz is keen on the move to play alongside Lionel Messi. Diaz has faced Messi in two international matches, with the Argentine legend winning both. The River Plate defender has 52 caps for Chile.

Diaz could be a great signing for the Herons as the 30-year-old is keen on taking on a new challenge after spending five years at River Plate (since 2019). The centre-back has helped maintain 71 clean sheets in 162 overall games played in the Argentine Primera Division.
