Manchester United could be set to lose Will Keane after the promising striker failed to sign a new contract due to lack of first team action.
Keane’s chances of a place in the Red Devils’ first team seemingly went up in smoke after the spectacular debut of teenage striker James Wilson against Hull City a few weeks ago.
The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at QPR, got a taste of first team action against Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2011 but has found opportunities hard to come by since his debut.
Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Juventus along with Premier League sides Arsenal and Newcastle United have expressed interest in signing Keane who’s contract runs out in the summer.
The striker has been a bit rusty after being on the sidelines for a year with a cruciate injury but the scouts who have watched him are sure he can regain his form soon.
Keane’s situation is similar to his former teammate Paul Pogba who left United for Juventus due to no first team opportunities.
