Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Federico Chiesa in a swap deal to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. The Serie A side are said to be keen on signing the Englishman while also looking to ship the Italian star.
As per a report in Gazzetta dello Sport (via Caught Offside), Juventus are ready to offer Chiesa to Manchester United. The Red Devils are believes to be in the market for a winger and are open to the swap deal.
Chiesa is not a part of Thiago Motta's plans at the Allianz Stadium. Similarly, Sancho has not been in Erik ten Hag's plans as the Englishman since last season.
Sancho fell out with the Manchester United manager after the Dutch tactician questioned the winger's commitment to training. The Englishman was not happy with the comments and hit out on social media, saying he was being made a scapegoat.
Jadon Sancho unlikely to make Borussia Dortmund return from Manchester United
Jadon Sancho spent the second half of the 2023/24 season at Borussia Dortmund after the fallout with Erik ten Hag. The winger helped the Bundesliga side reach the UEFA Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
The German side were keen on signing Sancho again, but have reportedly been priced out. The Englishman released a statement after his loan spell ended and wrote:
"What a crazy 6 months @bvb09. We win together we lose together, these moments only make us stronger! I'm so grateful to be apart of such an amazing group of players! I want to congratulate Real Madrid on winning the Champions League. We came up short on the night, but we should be super proud of ourselves. We are a family and these moments won't break us! Thank you to everybody who came out to support us on such a special day!"
Sancho added:
"@BVB I want to thank everyone involved at such an amazing club. I can't thank you enough for welcoming me back the way you all have during these last 6 months. Thank you to Edin Terzić, Sebastian Kehl and Hans-Joachim Watzke for believing in me and bringing me back. Finally a special thank you to the BVB fans. Your support is amazing and I'm forever thankful for you all!"
Erik ten Hag has admitted that there was no doubt about Sancho's talent, but that was not his issue with the Manchester United winger.
