Atletico Madrid have reportedly submitted an offer of £60 million to Manchester United for young forward Alejandro Garnacho, with the club considering the offer. The Argentine youngster has been a regular for the Red Devils over the last two years, but the club appears to be open to a transfer.

Garnacho spent five years on the books of Atletico Madrid before joining Manchester United's academy in 2020. Los Colchoneros appear to fancy re-signing the 20-year-old, who has developed into one of the most promising young forwards in English football.

As per Caught Offside (via Centre Devils), they have made a bid of £60 million for the young forward. The Red Devils haven't turned it down and appear to be considering the offer.

Manchester United named Ruben Amorim as their new head coach in November and are prepared to back the Portuguese tactician while he is at the club. Earlier this month, he dropped Garnacho and Marcus Rashford from the squad that faced Manchester City. He has since reintegrated the Argentine forward but Rashford remains out.

Alejandro Garnacho has eight goals and four assists in 27 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils this season. The youngster won the 2024 Puskas Award for his acrobatic effort for the side in their Premier League clash against Everton in the 2023-24 season.

With Angel Correa's contract at the Wanda Metropolitano set to expire in 2026, a move for Garnacho will prove to be an inspired one for Diego Simeone's side. Los Colchoneros currently lead the way in LaLiga and will look to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window.

Manchester United set to miss out on star striker - Reports

Manchester United are set to fail with their interest in Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window, as per TEAMTalk. The Nigerian striker appears to be inclined to remain in Turkiye until the end of his loan spell in June.

Manchester United have made inquiries about the possibility of signing the 26-year-old striker from Napoli in January. However, the Red Devils have been informed of his stance and will make no further moves to sign him in January but will continue to monitor his situation in Naples.

Osimhen has been in impressive form for Galatasaray this season, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in 15 appearances. With the struggles of Ruben Amorim's side in front of goal this season, they may look to sign another striker for the second half of the season.
