According to Caught Offside, Liverpool and Arsenal are set to battle for the signature of Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa. The Italy international is currently valued at £25 million, which could prove to be a bargain in today's market.
Chiesa is currently in the final year of his contract with the Bianconeri. Tottenham Hotspur has previously been linked with the forward and a deal was even touted as close to being complete.
Spurs, though, could face competition from two of their Premier League rivals, with another north London club also interested in the attacker. Chiesa can play either on both wings or down the middle.
Liverpool have been monitoring Chiesa for years and a deal could finally take place this summer.
Arsenal have also been touted as holding interest in the player, who has shown his quality at times during his Serie A stint. The 26-year-old has so far made 131 appearances for Juve, scoring 32 goals and providing 23 assists. He has also been crucial for Fiorentina during his spells at the club, scoring 34 goals and providing 26 assists in 153 appearances.
Chiesa was a key part of the Italy team that won Euro 2020. He has so far represented the Azzurri 51 times, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
