According to a report by Caught Offside (via TheHardTackle), Liverpool are interested in signing Charles De Ketelaere from Atalanta BC. However, they would face competition from Aston Villa, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur who are likewise interested in signing the Belgian midfielder.
Since securing a permanent move from AC Milan to Atalanta for a reported €22 million transfer fee in July 2024, De Ketelaere has been outstanding. In 23 games across all competitions this season, he has scored eight goals and registered nine assists.
His attacking brilliance hasn't gone under the radar as several Premier League clubs are looking to sign him. De Ketelaere's ability to feature in multiple attacking positions could enhance the Reds' attack if signed.
The £40m-rated Serie A star's ability to create chances in attack could also stand to benefit an attacker like Darwin Nunez in Liverpool's attack. The 23-year-old is contracted to the Bergamo-based club till June 2027, meaning his signing might not come cheap.
Liverpool's Ryan Gravenberch not considering a move despite recent rumors - Reports
Liverpool's midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is not considering a move out of Anfield, as per Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg. This comes after there have been rumors linking the Dutchman in a swap deal with Real Madrid's Aurélien Tchouaméni.
The Dutchman joined the Reds from Bayern Munich for a reported €40 million fee in September 2023. Despite providing only one goal contribution in 21 games, Gravenberch has enhanced the transition of the ball from the midfield to the attack.
In 15 Premier League appearances, he has registered a passing accuracy of 89.37% (790/884). Gravenberch has provided eight successful key passes and has registered 14 successful dribbles.
The aforementioned report further claimed that Gravenberch is an important player for Arne Slot, and there are no plans to sell him. The Reds are also not reportedly interested in swooping Gravenberch for Tchouaméni. Gravenberch is contracted at Anfield till June 2028 and he's valued at €55 million by Transfermarkt.
