Liverpool are not interested in signing Manchester City target Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to TBR Football. The Reds have been heavily linked with the forward amid uncertainty about Darwin Nunez’s future at Anfield.
Since joining Frankfurt from Wolfsburg as a free agent in July 2023, Marmoush has been outstanding in attack. In 24 appearances in the 2024-25 campaign, he has scored 18 goals and registered 12 assists.
His finishing proficiency and ability to create in the attack haven't gone under the radar as he has been linked with several Premier League clubs. Manchester City might be looking to sign as they look to strengthen their attack after a difficult start to the campaign.
Marmoush is primarily a center-forward but his flexibility to also feature on the right and left flank in attack is impressive. His potential presence could enhance Pep Guardiola's attacking options, giving them the much-needed flexibility in the center-forward position.
The aforementioned report also claims that Marmoush is seen as the replacement of Julian Alvarez who joined Atletico Madrid from City last summer. However, Marmoush is contracted at Frankfurt till June 2027, implying that his signing might not come cheap.
