Liverpool reportedly ready to make a bid to sign Chilean star.

With the summer transfer window afoot, Liverpool are reportedly ready to make £8 million bid to sign Chilean forward Darío Osorio. The 20-year-old plays for Danish club FC Midtjylland and has pulled off some impressive performances over the course of the past season.

The Reds' chief executive of football Michael Edwards, sporting director Richard Hughes, and head coach Arne Slot will look to sign new players to strengthen the squad at Anfield. Michael Edwards is strongly in favor of the decision to sign forward Osorio, who can also play as an attacking midfielder.

The club will be attempting to make a bid for him, including a percentage of a future sell-on, as per a report from La Tercera (via TBR Football). Midtjylland did not deny the potential interest from the Reds to sign Darío Osorio. The Danish side's sports director Ove Pederson recently addressed the rumors:

"You will understand that we cannot comment on possible offers for our players. We cannot advance anything. Simply put, this is not the way we work. I can only tell you that Darío Osorio is a great player and has had a great season."

Darío Osorio has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for FC Midtjylland this season.

Rafael van der Vaart claims young Liverpool star 'has the potential to be world-class'

Former Dutch icon Rafael van der Vaart believes Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch can become one of the best in the world. The 22-year-old arrived at Anfield from Bayern Munich last summer. He had a decent debut season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 38 games across competitions.

Ryan Gravenberch played for Bayern Munich from 2022-2023 before signing a five-year contract with Liverpool. Rafael van der Vaartol NOS of the central midfielder's potential (via HITC):

"If Bayern and Liverpool want you, then you just go. He really has the potential to be world-class."

The 41-year-old Dutchman further added:

"If you go from Ajax to Bayern and Liverpool, and you don't play much, then it is better to choose a club where you know you will just make a lot of minutes. And he has not done that. But, in the matches he has played, you can see that he is really a (quality) midfielder. I think he is so good. His potential is incredible."

Gravenberch is expected to be a regular name in the starting XI for the upcoming season for the Reds under Arne Slot's management.
