As per Football Insider, Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo can leave Liverpool in the January transfer window. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, and Fulham are interested in signing the 31-year-old this winter.

Slot has deployed Netherlands international Ryan Gravenberch in the defensive midfielder position. Endo, on the other hand, has played only 166 minutes for the Reds this season, while starting just two games in the Carabao Cup.

As per the aforementioned report, the Reds are planning to sign a midfielder in the upcoming transfer window. Wataru Endo, thus, will be deemed surplus to requirements and leave the Merseyside outfit in winter.

The Reds signed the Japan international from VfB Stuttgart for a reported transfer fee of £16 million in August 2023. He has since made 51 appearances for the Merseyside club across competitions, bagging two goals and one assist.

Wolves are currently the front runners in the race for the Japanese star, who is reportedly valued between £12m and £15m. Apart from the Premier League sides, Seria A giants AC Milan are also interested in securing the 31-year-old's services.

Liverpool join Tottenham Hotspur in race to sign LaLiga attacker: Reports

Arne Slot's Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Real Sociedad attacker Takefusa Kubo in the summer transfer window, as per Fichajes. Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in signing the Japanese attacker.

The 23-year-old joined Real Sociedad from Real Madrid on a permanent deal in July 2022. Since then, he has made 101 appearances for the side, bagging 19 goals and 14 assists across all competitions. The Japanese attacker signed a contract extension with the club earlier this year in February, and his current contract with the LaLiga side will expire in the summer of 2029.

As per the aforementioned report, Kubo has a release clause of €60 million (£16m). Tottenham are looking forward to adding more depth to their frontline. Meanwhile, Liverpool are aiming to sign a long-term replacement for their star attacker Mohamed Salah, who will be out of contract in the summer of 2025.
