Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly arrived at a contract decision with him in the final 10 months of his current Reds deal.

Alexander-Arnold, who made his debut for the Reds in 2016, is widely considered one of the best right-backs in the world. He has helped his club win eight trophies so far, including the Premier League title in 2020 and the UEFA Champions League crown in 2019.

Despite starting all of Liverpool's opening three Premier League games this term, Alexander-Arnold has turned down a contract renewal offer, according to Spanish website SPORT. The 25-year-old Englishman is believed to be a top target for Real Madrid next summer.

Alexander-Arnold, who is reportedly earning £180,000-per-week, could decide to end his stay at the Reds next year. Should he not pen a new deal at his boyhood club before January, he would be eligible to agree contract terms with foreign clubs ahead of a Bosman move.

So far, the 30-cap England international has found the back of the net 19 times and laid out 81 assists in 313 overall appearances for Liverpool.

Liverpool star Jarell Quansah comments on receiving prized advice from Virgil van Dijk

Speaking to The Times, Liverpool centre-back Jarell Quansah opened up on the help he has been receiving from club captain Virgil van Dijk since last year. The 21-year-old said (h/t This Is Anfield):

"The way Virgil talks you through the game, I've never heard anyone like it. He might annoy us at times but it's all for the greater good. With all the experience he has and the situations he's been in, it's only fair that he can share his knowledge so we can be the best players we can. I'll have to be one of the best centre-halves in Europe if I'm starting."

Shedding light on his dream of becoming the best, Quansah added:

"It's always been the goal since I was young, I've always wanted to be the best in the world in my position and so I'm striving for that and it doesn't matter how long it takes, I'm not going to get too disheartened if it's not 2026 [FIFA World Cup]. I know what I need to do and hopefully I keep improving. The more and more games I play, it will come and it's about taking that opportunity."

Last season, Quansah enjoyed a breakout campaign as he registered three goals and as many assists in 33 total appearances for the Reds.

So far this term, Quansah has made one appearance for Liverpool.
