Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly interested in roping in Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, who has recently been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.

Eze, 25, has cemented himself as a crucial presence in the Eagles' starting lineup since arriving from Queens Park Rangers for a sum of around £15 million in 2020. He relished a fine Premier League campaign in the 2023-24 term, guiding Palace to a 10th-placed finish.

A right-footed attacking midfielder renowned for his flair and dribbling, Eze scored 11 goals, all in the league, in 31 appearances across competitions past campaign. He also contributed six assists for his team.

Now, according to The Guardian, Manchester City are aiming to launch a move to sign Eze in the summer transfer window. However, they are set to face competition from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur soon.

The former Arsenal academy star, who is valued at £60 million, could emerge as a rotational option for Manchester City should he join them. He would likely help City boss Pep Guardiola in managing Kevin De Bruyne's minutes in all competitions in the 2024-25 season.

Eze, who has also reportedly drawn interest from Liverpool in the recent weeks, is currently representing England at the UEFA Euro 2024. He has featured once as a substitute in a 1-1 stalemate against Denmark.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka heaps praise on Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold

Before England's 1-1 Group C draw against Denmark at the Euro 2024 past week, Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka lauded Liverpool ace Trent Alexander-Arnold. The 22-year-old said (h/t LiverpoolWorld):

"For us attackers, it's a joy to play with him. He's always looking forward, always looking in behind and trying to threaten the [opposition's] backline. When he plays, the opposition is a bit scared. You never know where he can find the spaces, which pass he is going to play. He's definitely appreciated in the [national] team."

Alexander-Arnold, 25, has started two of his three appearances for England at the Euro 2024. He played his team's first two Group C games in midfield before being dropped in favor of Chelsea's Conor Gallagher.

While representing Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold is deemed as the creative force of his team. He has netted 19 goals and laid out 81 assists in 310 matches across all competitions for the Arne Slot-coached outfit.

Alexander-Arnold is next likely to be in action for England in their last-16 encounter against Slovakia at the Euro 2024 on Sunday (June 30).
