Ruben Amorim has decided to loan out two Manchester United youngsters in January. Harry Amass and Dan Gore are expected to leave the club this month to get more minutes under their belt.

As per a report in Manchester World, Amorim decided that Amass and Gore need to be playing regularly and get loaned out for the rest of the season. The Manchester United manager believes that they will not get enough chances at the club and wants them to get them back to the club before pre-season kicks off in the summer.

Amass has been named in the Manchester United matchday squad five times in his career despite being a teenager. However, he has not had a chance to show his skills on the pitch and is still waiting to make his debut.

Gore has had injury issues but is still rated highly at the club. He turned 20 last year and Amorim will hope that the midfielder can get enough experience under his belt in the next six months and return for a place in the squad next season.

Gary Neville wants Manchester United to sign players in January

Gary Neville was on Sky Sports last week and stated that Manchester United need to sign players to get back to their best. He believes that Chelsea and Arsenal target, Alexander Isak, should be their main target and said:

“I could say centre-forward, let’s get a world-class centre-forward, let’s get Isak in, but that’s never going to happen. I think if you were starting, you’d have to start with the fundamentals of this system, which is the wing-backs, they hold it together. If you don’t have the wing-backs functioning up and down that are able to attack and defend equally as good, and there aren’t many of those around, by the way, because there aren’t many teams that play wing-back, then you’re going to struggle.
“So, you need two quite unique players in those wide areas, and I think that will be the starting point. And that’s nothing against [Noussair] Mazraoui or [Diogo] Dalot, I think they’re very willing and doing the job the very best that they can. But they’re to me the areas that I would start in this system.”

However, Ruben Amorim has stated that signings in January are unlikely. He said:

"We don't have that possibility in January. You know the situation better than I [do]. It's not the case I am not arriving here and I can spend a lot of money, changing all the team. You know the situation so it's not a point to talk about it."

Manchester United sit 14th in the league table and the manager has admitted that they are in a relegation battle this season.
