Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea are in a three-horse race for LOSC Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, as per TBR Football. The Frenchman rose through the youth ranks at Lille, and has since gone on to make 98 appearances for their senior side.
As the first-choice goalkeeper this season, Lucas Chevalier has made 19 appearances across all competitions. Notably, his heroic performances against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League have caught the attention of many top European clubs.
His current contract with Lille expires in the summer of 2027, so the French side could demand a significant fee next summer if he continues in the same vein. With three Premier League giants in Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing him, things could get interesting.
Blues shot-stopper Robert Sanchez has performed well this term, conceding 13 goals and keeping two clean sheets in 11 appearances in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Chelsea also signed Filip Jorgensen earlier this year.
Manchester United are also interested in signing the Frenchman. They have Andre Onana as their first-choice goalkeeper. Second in the order, Turkey's Altay Bayindir has made only two appearances this term, both in the Carabao Cup.
Guglielmo Vicario is Tottenham's first-choice shot-stopper, having joined them last summer. He has made 54 appearances across competitions for them, conceding 77 goals and keeping 11 clean sheets. On the other hand, Fraser Forster's contract with the Lilywhites will expire next summer, making potential room for Chevalier.
Arsenal to face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea to sign 24-year-old forward: Reports
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal will face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic, as per TEAMtalk.
According to the aforementioned report, the Serie A giants value Dusan Vlahovic at €70 million, but they are expected to accept offers of around €60m. The Gunners see him as a potential replacement for Brazilian attacker Gabriel Jesus and a possible partner for Kai Havertz in the frontline.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have been linked with Victor Osimhen but they are also in talks with Vlahovic. Manchester United, on the other hand, signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna earlier this summer, but the Dutchman has failed to perform up to the expectations.
Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. His current contract in Turin will expire in the summer of 2026. He has bagged 50 goals and 10 assists in 117 appearances across all competitions for the Old Lady.
