Manchester United are reportedly looking to make an audacious attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min. The South Korea international has entered the final few months of his contract with Spurs, which expires next summer.

Son has been one of the most consistent players in the English top-flight over the past decade, shining under a number of managers at Tottenham. The 32-year-old forward signed a four-year deal with the North London outfit back in 2021 but has yet to sign a renewal.

A report from GiveMeSport has claimed that Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is a fan of the Korean forward and will push to sign him in the summer. The Portuguese coach sees the experienced attacker as an ideal fit for one of the two roles behind the striker in his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.

Son has yet to win any silverware since his arrival in England back in 2015. The forward may thus be tempted to play for the Red Devils, who won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup over the last two seasons.

Manchester United will have to do a lot of work to convince the forward, who has played 422 games for Spurs and was made captain of the club in 2023. He has 166 goals and 88 assists in his time at the club.

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to make a push to sign Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies on a free next summer. The Canada international has emerged as a top target for head coach Ruben Amorim as he looks to build a squad to suit his style of football.

Davies is a target for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, but TEAMTalk report that the Red Devils are also keen on the 24-year-old left-back. The recent injury to Luke Shaw has alerted the club, who are now planning to sign the best available player in the position.

Alphonso Davies is nearing the end of his contract at the Allianz Arena and will be eligible for pre-contract offers from January 1. The Canadian full-back still has the option of extending his stay at the German club.
