Casemiro could join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has reportedly been offered a salary of £650-per-week by Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al-Nassr. According to GiveMeSport, the Saudi Pro League side want to sign the Brazilian midfielder in the ongoing January transfer window.

Casemiro joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid for a reported €70.65 million in August 2022. After an outstanding 2022-23 season in which he helped United finish third in the Premier League, he has struggled to keep up with the demands of the English top-flight.

In 105 appearances for United, Casemiro has scored 15 goals and registered nine assists. In the ongoing season, the Brazilian has registered 22 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring three goals. His contract at Old Trafford expires in June 2026 and thus, United will be looking to sell him in January or the upcoming summer transfer window to secure a fee.

Last summer, Casemiro was heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, but a transfer did not materialize. As per the aforementioned report, Al-Nassr are now looking to tempt the Brazilian with a mouthwatering salary. The report also claims that Casemiro would become among the top five earners in the Saudi Pro League if he accepts the offer.
