Real Madrid interested in Manchester United star: Reports
Los Blancos are looking to sign a right-back as they are short in that area of the pitch. Dani Carvajal is out for this season due to an ACL injury and they only have Lucas Vazquez as his backup. Hence, Real Madrid are keen to sign a right-back in January or in the summer.
The Spanish giants have been heavily linked with a move for Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract with Liverpool expires in the summer. However, as per journalist Ben Jacobs, the Englishman wants to talk to the Reds before making a decision.
Due to this wait, Los Blancos have now added Manchester United's Diogo Dalot to their list. The Portuguese right-back joined the Red Devils from FC Porto in 2018. He spent the 2020-21 season on loan at AC Milan but besides that, he's recorded eight goals and 12 assists in 180 games for United.
As per Jacobs, new manager Ruben Amorim hails his compatriot Diogo Dalot highly. Manchester United, meanwhile, could sell the right-back for a fee of around £45 million, with his contract expiring in 2028.
