Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Manchester United's target Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. This is according to TBR Football journalist, Graeme Bailey (via The Hard Tackle).
Kolo Muani has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the ongoing January transfer window by numerous reports. The Red Devils' interest in signing the Frenchman could be tied to their quest to enhance their attack. This could be tied to the inconsistency of their strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
However, Tottenham have reportedly contacted PSG over Kolo Muani's possible signing as they look to strengthen their attack. When he was at Eintracht Frankfurt, the Frenchman was formidable in attack. In 50 appearances he scored 26 goals and registered 17 assists.
Since moving from Frankfurt to PSG for a reported €95 million in September 2023, the Frenchman has struggled to deliver in attack. In 54 games, he has only scored 11 goals and provided seven assists.
Kolo Muani has scored four goals and registered two assists in 26 games this season. However, Tottenham are looking to allow him to redeem himself by signing him.
The Frenchman's flexibility to feature in multiple attacking positions could enhance Tottenham's attacking outlook if signed. The aforementioned report also claimed that PSG are open to selling Kolo Muani in the ongoing January transfer window.
Manchester United are prepared to seal Amad Diallo's fresh contract - Reports
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are looking to seal Amad Diallo's new contract. The youngster has proven to be a key player for Manchester United in attack this season.
In 28 appearances, he has scored six goals and provided seven assists for the Red Devils this season. However, his contract expires in the summer.
The Red Devils are not looking to trigger the option of a further year in his present contract agreement. However, they are reportedly willing to offer the right winger a long-term contract with an improved salary.
The aforementioned report also claims that the negotiations between United and Amad are in the final stages.
Amad remains in contention for a start in the Red Devils' next game against Arsenal in the FA Cup on (January 12).
