Manchester United target Jarrad Branthwaite has surprisingly been tipped to join Liverpool. As per Manchester Evening News, Sky Bet have slashed their odds on the Everton defender making a switch across the city to Anfield.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Branthwaite throughout the summer. As claimed by Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils had two bids rejected for the 22-year-old.
Branthwaite emerged as one of the brightest defensive prospects following a stellar season in Everton colors last season. The 22-year-old made 41 appearances for the Toffees last season helping the club keep 15 clean sheets.
The England international played a pivotal role in helping Sean Dyche's side retain their Premier League status despite a points deduction. The Everton star, however, was left out of the final Euro 2024 squad by England manager Gareth Southgate.
Manchester United's efforts to land Branthwaite ended in vain as they failed to match Everton's valuation. However, Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Branthwaite leaving Goodison Park this summer.
As per the betting website, the young defender is priced at 2/1 to make a sensational switch to Liverpool. Erik ten Hag's side, on the other hand, are placed at 3/1.
Manchester City and Real Madrid are placed at 4/1 and 12/1 respectively to land Branthwaite. As per the Manchester Evening News, there are, however, no credible reports that Liverpool are plotting a move for the Everton star.
