Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has reportedly held talks with CAA Stellar, an agency that could facilitate his Old Trafford exit. The latest revelation was made by The Sun (via Metro).
While Dwaine Maynard, Rashford's brother, is the Englishman's agent, he could step aside for CCA Stellar to quicken Rashford's exit. In recent weeks, Rashford has appeared to have fallen out with his head coach Ruben Amorim.
The Englishman has failed to feature for United in their last five games across all competitions. In the Red Devils' most recent game against Newcastle United, Rashford was an unused substitute despite making the matchday squad.
This has prompted exit rumors as the winter transfer window has opened today (January 1). Rashford was promoted from the U-18 squad to the first team in January 2016. Thus, he's one of the longest-serving players currently at Old Trafford.
In 426 appearances, Rashford has scored 138 goals and registered 63 assists for the Red Devils. In the 2024-25 season, the Englishman has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 24 appearances.
Despite the speculations surrounding his future, he's contracted at Old Trafford until June 2028. The aforementioned report claims that the CAA Stellar sporting agency facilitated Gareth Bale's move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in September 2013.
Thus, it's expected that the agency would secure a decent move for Rashford in the ongoing winter transfer window.
"It’s not that I want to make a point about" - Manchester United's head coach Ruben Amorim on Marcus Rashford
The Red Devils head coach has claimed that he's not interested in making a point with Rashford's situation. This comes after the Englishman has not featured in the Red Devils last five games.
In a post-match interview after the 0-2 defeat to Newcastle United, Amorim said (via Fabrizio Romano):
"It’s not that I want to make a point about Marcus Rashford leaving him out… …I just want to win the game, that’s why I make my choices."
The Red Devils are going through a difficult time having lost their nine out of 19 Premier League games this season. However, Amorim has expressed that he's solely interested in winning matches rather than discussing any player.
Manchester United are ranked 14th in the Premier League standings, having registered 22 points from 19 games. They will take on Liverpool in their next Premier League game on January 5.
