Barcelona have reportedly put two players ahead of Nico Williams on their transfer target list for the summer. They have identified Rafael Leao and Luis Diaz as two main targets in the attack.

The Blaugrana were heavily linked with a potential move for Williams last summer. However, a deal didn't go through and the winger ended up staying at Athletic Club. He's recorded two goals and five assists in 23 games across competitions for the Spanish side this season. He's still been linked with a move away in the summer.

However, as per El Nacional, Barcelona have put Rafael Leao and Luis Diaz ahead of Williams on their transfer target list. Sporting director Deco is a big admirer of Leao, who's contributed six goals and six assists in 22 games across competitions this season for AC Milan.

The Italian giants, however, won't let their prized asset leave easily and will demand over €100 million, with his contract expiring in 2028. He's recorded 64 goals and 55 assists in 232 games for Milan.

Luis Diaz, on the other hand, could be a potentially cheaper option with his contract expiring in 2027. The Colombian winger has been excellent for Liverpool this season, registering 12 goals and three assists in 24 games across competitions.

Both Diaz and Leao, though, can impact games even without G/A with their dribbling skills and flair, which has led to attention from Barcelona.

Barcelona winger's agent provides update on his future

Ansu Fati's agent Jorge Mendes has opened up on his client's future at Barcelona. The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away in the January transfer window amidst his struggles with injuries and form.

In a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo (via Barca Blaugranes), Mendes said:

“These are questions for Barça. Barça knows best what plans they have and what the coach thinks. In the world of football everything changes in five minutes.
“You have to wait and see. He has shown that he had the courage to play for Barça and that he had an impressive level. What Ansu needs is confidence and to solve his problems. And when he is at his best, Barça will need him.”

Fati came through Barcelona's academy and was widely regarded as the next big thing. He was also given the iconic No. 10 shirt following Lionel Messi's departure. However, consistent injury issues meant the Spaniard could never find his form back for the Spanish giants.

Fati has made just seven appearances across competitions this season. His contract expires in 2027.
