Pep Guardiola is ready to let Bernardo Silva leave Manchester City in 2025, according to Fichajes.net. The Portuguese midfielder's contract at the Etihad expires in 2026 and he hasn't been handed a new deal yet.

Silva has been linked with an exit from City for a while, but a move hasn't materialized. The 30-year-old has registered 67 goals and 69 assists from 373 games across competitions for the reigning Premier League champions.

However, the player has shown signs of regression in recent times. This season, Silva has registered just one goal and three assists from 18 games, failing to register a single goal contribution in the Cityzens' recent rough patch of five losses and a draw in six games. The situation has prompted Guardiola to plan for reinforcements.

Silva remains highly regarded at the Etihad, but with his contract expiring, the English giants are willing to listen to offers next summer. Despite his recent struggles, Silva's stock remains high and there will be no dearth of suitors if he decides to leave.

The report adds that the Portuguese is wanted in Italy, France as well as Spain, thanks to his wealth of experience with Manchester City. Bernardo Silva has won the Premier League six times, the FA Cup twice, and the EFL Cup on four occasions with the Cityzens. He also won the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup as well as three Community Shields during his time at the Emirates.

Manchester City have lost five and drawn one of their last six games across competitions. Their last victory came in October end and the club are yet to win a game in November.

City are now third in the Premier League table after 12 games, eight points behind leaders Liverpool. Pep Guardiola's team have won seven and lost three in the league this season, scoring 22 goals and conceding 17.

Manchester City are also 17th in the Champions League table, where they have won two and lost one of their five games. They were also knocked out of the EFL Cup last month by Tottenham Hotspur.

Guardiola's team have now lost five of their 20 games this season across competitions. Interestingly, their defeats have coincided with Rodri's absence, with the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner picking up an ACL injury in September this year. While it initially looked like City were coping well with their talisman's absence, it can be assumed that Rodri is a big miss in Guardiola's setup.
