Multiple clubs are keeping a close eye on Real Madrid's Endrick in the ongoing January transfer window, according to Fichajes (via Madrid Universal). The Brazilian forward arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu last summer as one of the most exciting young talents in the world.
Unfortunately, Endrick has been starved of chances at Los Blancos, with the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order. The 18-year-old has appeared 16 times across competitions for the LaLiga champions this season, registering two goals and one assist.
Endrick has only made it into Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI twice so far, adding to his frustration. Real Madrid have high hopes for the teenager but are aware that the lack of first-team opportunities could derail his development.
As such, both Los Blancos and the player's camp are exploring loan opportunities for the Brazilian. Despite Endrick's lack of game time with the LaLiga champions, there is considerable interest in his services, particularly from the Premier League.
English clubs are already vying for his signature, including the ones known for nurturing young talents. The fast-paced, physically intense nature of the Premier League could do wonders for the youngster's development.
A temporary exit from the Santiago Bernabeu this month, as such, cannot be ruled out. However, Endrick could also see out the season before sitting down for crunch talks with Real Madrid this summer.
When are Real Madrid back in action?
Real Madrid are preparing to face Mallorca at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Thursday, January 9, in the Supercopa de Espana semifinal. Carlo Ancelotti's team arrive at the game buoyed by their 5-0 win over Deportivo Minera on Monday, January 6, in the Copa del Rey Round of 32.
Endrick started the game and played the entire 90 minutes. A brace from Arda Guler, and goals from Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Luka Modric helped Los Blancos secure passage into the next round.
The LaLiga giants have endured mixed fortunes so far this season, despite roping in Kylian Mbappe last summer. The French superstar arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Mbappe has registered 13 goals and three assists from 25 games across competitions for Real Madrid so far. Los Blancos are currently at the top of the LaLiga table after 19 games, two points ahead of Atletico Madrid, who have a game in hand.
