Real Madrid and Barcelona target Alphonso Davies has demanded a €15m signing bonus from potential suitors according to SPORT. The Canadian's contract with Bayern Munich will come to an end in the summer of 2025 and he appears set to become a free agent.

Both Barca and Madrid are reportedly aware of the terms that Davies has mentioned and it will be interesting to see if they still remain in his pursuit. The left-back can agree to a pre-contract in January 2025. It remains to be seen if either Barcelona or Real Madrid will approach him in the winter window.

Manchester United have also unexpectedly joined the race to sign the 23-year-old and are reportedly willing to match his wage expectations. It is these wage expectations that have led to Bayern not renewing his contract and possibly letting him go for free in the summer transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly in the driving seat at the moment as head coach Hansi Flick has first-hand experience of Davies' potential from when the two worked together at Bayern.

Sporting Director Deco also likes Davies a lot and wants to bring him to Camp Nou to add more cover to the left-back position and provide competition to Alejandro Balde.

Davies is noted for his speed and accuracy running down the left-hand flank as well as the piercing crosses he can provide. His willingness to cut back inside and get inside the opponents' box to try and take shots is also appreciated a lot by both Barcelona and Madrid.

The Canadian has made 204 appearances across competitions for Bayern Munich, scoring 11 goals and providing 32 assists in the process. At the international level, he has featured 55 times for Canada, scoring 15 goals.
