Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on former Barcelona youth product Iker Bravo, according to SPORT (via Madrid Universal). The Spaniard rose through the ranks at Camp Nou but left the Catalans in 2021 to join the Bayer Leverkusen academy.

Interestingly, a year later, he joined Real Madrid Castilla on loan. Bravo spent two years with the club, who had an option to make his stay permanent.

However, Los Blancos opted against exercising that option and he returned to the BayArena. Last summer, the 19-year-old move to Udinese and has done very well so far.

The teenager has scored one goal and set up one more from 15 games across competitions for the Italian club so far. While he is not a first-team regular yet, the former Barcelona academy player's efforts have turned heads at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spaniard's contract with Udinese runs until 2028, but if he continues his good form, a return to Spain could be on the cards. Real Madrid have altered their transfer strategy of late and are now targeting younger talents like Bravo in the market.

The player opted to move to Udinese in search of regular football and is now on the radar of multiple clubs. Bravo could prove to be a nifty bit of business for Los Blancos, although he may not be too keen to return to LaLiga to warm the bench.

Can Real Madrid or Barcelona sign Alphonso Davies this summer?

Real Madrid and Barcelona have suffered a setback in their pursuit of Alphonso Davies. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Canadian is all set to sign a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old is in the final six months of his contract with the Bavarians, and his future has been making the headlines for a while. Los Blancos are looking for an upgrade on Ferland Mendy and have apparently identified Davies as a priority target for the summer.

However, Barcelona reportedly have their eyes on the Canadian as well and are trying to usurp Real Madrid in the race for the player. The Catalans are apparently looking to add more competition to their left-back position and have their eyes on Davies.

Barcelona are under financial distress, so Davies' contract situation makes him a lucrative option for the club. However, it now appears that the Canadian could extend his stay at the Allianz Arena. As such, the Catalans will have to turn their attention to alternate targets.
