Real Madrid make decision on 28-year-old star amid transfer interest from surprise LaLiga club: Reports

Real Betis are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in the winter transfer window. However, as per Fichajes.net, Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid are keen to keep the 28-year-old at Santiago Bernabeu.

Due to Toni Kroos' retirement and Aurelien Tchouameni's injury, Dani Ceballos has gotten opportunities to start for Carlo Ancelotti's side. The midfielder has made nine appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos.

Eduardo Camavinga's name also got added to Madrid's growing injuries list as the Frenchman sustained a muscular injury against Arne Slot's Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.

Due to an injury crisis, Ceballos has also started Real Madrid's last two LaLiga games, victories against Leganes (3-0) and Getafe (2-0). As per the aforementioned report, Carlo Ancelotti's side are unwilling to sell the Spanish midfielder to his former club, Real Betis in the upcoming transfer window.

Ceballos joined the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in July 2017 from Real Betis. The Spanish midfielder also played for Arsenal on loan for two seasons between 2019 and 2021. Ceballos made 77 appearances across competitions, bagging two goals and five assists for the Gunners.

For Real Madrid, Dani Ceballos has made 156 appearances, bagging seven goals and 14 assists across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos are also interested in recruiting new players in the midfield. The LaLiga giants have been linked with Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi in the upcoming transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, as per Relevo's Sergio Fernandez. Due to Dani Carvajal's and Lucas Vazquez's injuries, Los Blancos are keen to recruit a new right-back in the January transfer window.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will remain Madrid's transfer priority. However, they're still open to analyzing other available options in the market too.

The Portuguese defender's transfer fee is estimated to be around €50. Moreover, with the arrival of Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford, Manchester United are unlikely to receive any offers less than €50 million got Diogo Dalot.

The 25-year-old is an academy product of FC Porto and he joined the Red Devils in July 2018 for a reported €22 million. Since joining the Premier League giants, Dalot has made 177 appearances for the Red Devils across different competitions, bagging six goals and 12 assists.
