Real Madrid are planning a move for Evan Ndicka in 2025 to solve their defensive conundrum, according to journalist Abdellah Boulma. The LaLiga giants are on the hunt for defensive reinforcements in January following Eder Militao's ACL injury.

The Brazilian is not expected to play again this season, leaving Los Blancos a little light at the back. Carlo Ancelotti now has just Antonio Rudiger and Jesus Vallejo as his senior center back options, with the latter appearing just once this season.

Real Madrid are planning to address the issue in the January transfer window, and are eyeing multiple candidates for the job. Ndicka has now popped up on their radar.

The 25-year-old first caught the eye with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he spent five seasons. Ndicka left the Bundesliga club last summer to join AS Roma.

The Ivorian has since established himself as a first team regular for the Italian giants. This season, Ndicka has registered 15 appearances across competitions, playing every minute of every game for Roma.

His efforts have earned him admirers at Real Madrid. However, it is unclear if the Serie A giants would consider a move in the winter. AS Roma have struggled this season and are 12th in the league after 12 games.

As such, they may not be took keen to lose their defensive stalwart in the middle of the campaign. The player is under contract at the Stadio Olimpico until 2028.

Real Madrid are missing as many as seven first team stars at the moment due to various injuries. Eder Militao is set to be sidelined for the rest of the campaign due to an ACL injury.

David Alaba is also nursing a Cruciate Ligament tear that he picked up in December last year and is yet to return to action. The Austrian defender is unlikely to be back before January.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos are without Thibaut Courtois, who picked up an adductor injury last month. Elsewhere, Dani Carvajal picked up an ACL injury last month and is not expected to play again this season. Carvajal's cover in the squad, Lucas Vazquez, is also out with an adductor injury, although he is likely to be available at the start of December.

Real Madrid are also missing Rodrygo with a muscle injury, and he is expected to return to action next month. Aurelien Tchouameni, meanwhile, is nursing an ankle sprain.
