Real Madrid have reportedly agreed personal terms with Lille defender Leny Yoro amid interest from Manchester United. MARCA are now reporting that Los Blancos have agreed to terms with the player but are yet to commence negotiations with his club over a transfer fee (via @MadridXtra).

The French centre-back is said to be among the top young players going around Europe at the moment. He's contracted with the Ligue 1 outfit till the summer of 2025, which means that the club will look to sell him this summer.

If Yoro decides to remain at Lille for another season, he could walk away for free in 2025. With these circumstances in mind, it looks like Real Madrid are moving the fastest amongst the 18-year-old's suitors.

The likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have also been credited with interest in the player. However, The Athletic claims that it is likely Yoro will go to Santiago Bernabeu.

It's no surprise that the France under-23 international would wish to move to the Spanish capital, given Los Blancos' track record of late. This season, Carlo Ancelotti's team won La Liga, beating second-placed Barcelona by 10 points and lifted the UEFA Champions League.

With issues in central defense, particularly concerning the fitness of older players like David Alaba, there is a real chance for Yoro to come in and stamp his authority. German centre-back Antonio Rudiger is also over 30, and this could be the perfect time for a young defender to move to the club.

Last season, he made 44 appearances across competitions for Lille, bagging three goals in the process.

Liverpool are also reportedly interested in making a move for Lille's Leny Yoro. As per CaughtOffSide, the Reds will look to pounce if a deal with Real Madrid fails to go through this summer.

The Merseysiders will be sweating over the future of Virgil van Dijk, who only has a year left on his current deal at Anfield. Moreover, Joe Gomez, who is a versatile talent has also attracted interest from clubs this summer as he looks for guaranteed game time (via Mirror).

A move to the Premier League club also wouldn't be much worse for Yoro. Liverpool finished third in the English top-flight this season and have earned themselves a spot in the Champions League for the 2024/25 campaign.
